Hằng, commonly styled as Hang, is JEGantic's haute-Vietnamese restaurant and cocktail lounge on Rue Notre Dame Ouest in Griffintown. The concept balances traditional Vietnamese culinary techniques with contemporary presentation and polished hospitality.
The room is immersive, lush, and sensory-driven, taking inspiration from the vibrant spirit of Vietnam. The cocktail program uses bold spices, fragrant herbs, and signature Vietnamese ingredients, giving the bar its own point of view beyond standard race-week nightlife.
During race week, Hang typically runs three-night programming from Thursday through Saturday. Each evening features the full à la carte menu, signature cocktails, guest DJs, and VIP table options. Thursday is the opening night warm-up, Friday brings peak energy, and Saturday's closing night carries the buzz from the circuit.
The venue is named in honor of Madame Hang, matriarch of the Tran Cantine and Pho Tay Ho family, and celebrates her culinary legacy through a more elevated, contemporary race-week dining format.
